During our preschool learning time, we work on one alphabet letter per week with emphasis on the sound the letter makes and how to correctly write the letter.  Our weekly activities include:  Language Arts, Music, Bible Story/Character Lesson, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art Project, and a Physical Activity.

We feel children learn best in a loving, organized, predictable environment.  Our environment focuses on what children can do, instead of what they can't.  We have created a variety of free play areas we call learning centers.  The children may choose to play alone or with a partner.

We also provide a toddler learning time where we focus on the basics of education such as recognizing the alphabet, counting and recognizing numbers, colors and shapes; and learning how to color with markers, how to paint with fingers and brushes, how to cut and manipulate dough, and how to cut with scissors.

• We use a Letter of the Week theme to encourage beginning stages of reading.
• The children learn good health habits through food, hand washing, and exercise activities.
• We work on being patient, responsible, and compassionate as the children learn about taking turns and sharing.
• Children participate in a variety of activities such as art, creative play, science, physical activity, language, and math.
• From the age of two, the children work on self help skills such as potty training, washing and drying  their hands, putting on their own coats and shoes, pulling down and up their own pants, and learning how to zip.

Religious practices:

We also include religious practices in our daily activities. 

• We sing songs such as "Jesus Loves Me" and the "B-I-B-L-E"
• We say the prayer "God is Great" at lunch time.
• We read biblical stories like "Noah's Ark" and play cards, games,  puzzles, and play with the "Little People" ark to reinforce the lessons taught in the story.
• We watch "Veggie Tales" videos.
• At naptime, we listen to soft Christian music playing in the background.
